New guest label: Studio Joni Neelen from the Netherlands
The talented designer Joni Neelen (26 years) lives and works in Eindhoven. She graduated at the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2008. She started her own design studio after her study, in which she focused on product and interior design. Her designs are a mixture of functionality combined with playfulness and a nostalgic twist. Pull along Polly is one of her latest projects in which she plunged back into her childhood.
This big pull along leather elephant is both a toy as a pouffe, to sit on!
They are available in three colors: black, grey and brown

New guest label: MarMar from Copenhagen
MarMar Copenhagen is the new kids label from Denmark founded by Marlene Holmboe, ex-head designer of Mini a ture. We are proud to introduce MarMar as their first selling point in the Netherlands!
Marlene’s visions is to create a universe in “toned down elegance, where romantic appearance and sharp graphic prints are the contrasts.”
Only the most important details are allowed, the coloures are always toned down, but with an eye catching twist.
Regarding sustainability, MarMar always seeks to produce as decent as possible. For example a part of the collection is oko-tex 100 certificated.
We are proud to present a funky X-mas set as a preview on the coming SS10 collection, which will arrive coming February.
Size range: 1-10 year

Exclusive: SNURK bedding for kids!
They say Snurk bedding is special. Perhaps because their designs are different. They put a lot of love and energy in creating original designs and the most beautiful execution. Because they want to make something that is more than just bedding. Because it’s fun.
What’s also special is that they are the only brand to print bedding digitally. This way of manufacturing is still brand new and results in razorsharp, lifelike prints and full colours that hold even after frequent washing. But that’s not all. They only work with percal and percaline cotton that is of better and softer quality than average. Furthermore they produce environment-friendly and child labour-free.
If you add up all these things, it is also quite special that their bedding is still affordable. That’s because the entire process of design, production, sales, up to sending off packages is done by theirselves. Plus they’re not just in it for the money. For instance, 40% of the turnover of Le-Clochard and Le-Trottoir goes to a good cause. And that is also special.
Exclusively for BB+++ Snurk produces these junior sizes!

What started as a hobby expanded into a complete collection of knits and wovens, as well as accessories like the fun newsboy cap which you will find in our shop! Note the MDF apes, which are designed by our other guest label Our children's gorilla!

Hikje (Which means little hiccup in Dutch!) was founded in the spring of 2008 by Dutch designer Janneke Zantinge. Janneke graduated in 2006 at the Utrecht School of the Arts in the Netherlands. After setting up her own business in product design, she decided there is always room for a second label! Janneke now divides her time between creating cool products, such as lamps and radios, and making new cute designs for Hikje, like the little cranes, made out of cardboard and wrapped in cotton thread, which are available in this shop!
